As a result of many of you wanting to go and support the appeal and the funded projects we are involved in, we are heading over to Nepal this Easter and you can come with us too!

Worthwhile memories to last a lifetime!

We have so far rebuilt homes in some of the worst affected rural areas of Nepal as a response to the devastation caused by last Aprils earthquake. In addition to this we have completed the rebuild of one school with a  further two now in the process of planning and construction and we have recently agreed to fund the renewal of water pipes and supplies to remote rural communities.

This Spring I will be heading out to Nepal as project manager with a group of volunteers, to go out and spend time working at the project sites the Charity is funding as part of our long term commitment to the redevelopment of these affected communities.

Is this something you want to be involved in?

The two week trip will spend the first week immersed in the local communities and whether you are a skilled labourer or can just handle a paint brush or a teacher of volunteer wanting to spend time running sessions with the local children, you will come back with rewarding memories to last a lifetime. The second week offers the chance to then complete a 5 day trek and 3 day river trip allowing you to really experience the culture, splendour and Nepal’s special ingredient -the people, that make this such a unique destination. The two weeks will not only help the projects and Charity work that is actively going on in Nepal but also support the local operators and the much needed return of tourism to Nepal.

Whether its your first adventure in Asia or the idea of giving time to support the projects the Charity funds, this trip is fully supported and will be personally guided by me as part of ‘Live The Adventure Travel’, offering my 25 years experience in Nepal, sharing wonderful experiences and meeting amazing people.

In addition to this we have an evening here at the centre on the revised date of Wednesday 3rd February at Live the Adventure, Stottesdon, 6.30pm with a presentation on the trip and an opportunity to ask questions and meet Charity members.
